DO NOT USE THEM
DO NOT USE THEM. Love getting ads from EASYCAR as it reminds me to try and help avoid people having the same experience we had.

Never use this company for car rental, we booked with them, they use car trawler, when we got to the pick up location, the desk was closed and no car available then for us, so we had to get last minute from another provider at the desk and it cost us another £1500, Easyjet and Cartrawler both washed their hands of any responsibility, had to get money back through credit card company and there is no way to get other extra money spent.

In response to Car Trawlers response, which you should ignore - their documentation said that the car hire desk would be open but when we got there it was not open, the desk had closed much earlier than the documentation from car trawler and we arrived on tie for the pick up, any problems they will shirk and pass between he other 3rd party in our case Easy car hire and both will claim sorry not their responsibility.

I WILL KEEP PUSHING THIS EXPERIENCE IN THE HOPE IT SAVES SOME PEOPLE THE SAME EXPERIENCE, AND THE THE REPERCUSSIONS OF A SPOILT HOLIDAY

I am so sorry to hear that you were unable to pick up the car. It's quite clear from your feedback that you're disappointed and frustrated. I'm very sorry that we're unable to offer you the solution and outcome you'd hoped for here.

Please be informed that your rental agreement, which was mentioned before and after the confirmation of the booking, commits you to show up on time mentioned in the contract. I would like also to remind you that you will find the opening hours of the supplier on your rental agreement. Therefore, if the pickup time passes and the rental does not take place and neither the supplier nor ourselves have been contacted to advise about the delay, this would be considered a no-show. Unfortunately, no refund would be due as per the rental agreement.
I apologize for any inconvenience caused and I trust that you can understand our position on this matter.

Things is. We were 1 hour late and the car rental agreement from Easycar showed that the desk would be open well after we got there.

Keep sending the ads guys as I want to help people avoid using you guys as service if any issues is horrendous.

Regardless. If anything happens while you are on your flight, you will be deemed a no show with EASYCAR ?????

Truly disgraceful.
Truly disgraceful.
I made a booking for a rental car with EasyJet car Rentals for Dalaman airport.
As this was done on easyJet’s flight booking website I expected the details of my flight to be automatically transferred through to the car booking (as had been the case for a previous EasyJet car rental).
So I arrived in Dalaman expecting to be met as the arrangements on the booking confirmation - but no!
When I phoned the number on the confirmation to find out what was going on I was told that my booking had been cancelled as I had not arrived at the time stated on the reservation.
When I checked I discovered that EasyJet had passed through my arrival time as 8.00 am instead of 11.00 which was the time that it was scheduled to arrive.
Easyjet have refused to refund me as their conditions say that if I am late collecting the car then I have broken booking conditions and will not be due a refund.
- never again!

So as I suspected even though I have not had the rental and it has not cost them anything Eastcar are just going to pocket the money
This is not a fair or reasonable position to take - as I said before disgusting and I will not now use Easycar again even though I had been intending to travel abroad on at least 10 occasions this year and would have used them on each and everyone of those strips - ultimately your loss not mine!

Not easy at all, total mess, SCAM
This company is a total mess, they didn’t provide the complete info and I have all documented and will report them to police. First they lie about the address they say it’s at airport and then at airport I see there is 10 minutes away from airport. And when I arrive they refuse to give me the car and say my credit card Is not accepted but it’s fine the rental company say, we won’t charge anything and easy car will refund you. Now I am emailing 2 weeks with easycar and they refuse to refund me, they try every trick. They want me to send picture of my card, of course I won’t do that why should I even send a picture? They can se the statement and the money is on their account they must refund me. This is scam.

This company is a thief. Hope they already lost much more than 300 euro which they have stolen from me..... Carefully read their contract, they never refund no matter what!

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! It takes them over 6 WEEKS to refund your money once you have cancelled within the terms of your agreement! I don't understand why? They basically sit on your money and earn interest I guess - never going to book with them again - AWFUL company - same as EASYJET - need I say more!!

Rubbish Service! easy car, dont book with them
I hired car from easycar.com and we arrived to luton airport, car hire place was closed and there was nobody there to give us car, they let us there with children under the rain! and cold and we had to wait 1 hour to find taxi to go hotel, and they didnt care bout anything, they are rubbish company., dont book with them, they are not care of you!!

Unethical conditions & practice
Booked a car for 8 days. At pickup found my credit card had expired while I was travelling. Had to cancel and hire from another provider in the same pick up location that accepted a debit card payment as collateral for excess. Instead of returning the full sum paid, minus the advertised cancellation fee, easyCar quoted a clause in the voucher (issued after the booking paid for) and kept every cent. So I paid full cost of the car hire! Incredible and surely illegal, but too costly to pursue in court. How do companies who operate like this stay in business?
Easycar response to this review is misleading. Easycar is responsible for this terrible practice, not the supplier. This is no different to theft.

Booked a car online
Booked a car online. Then cancelled as per agreement. Received email telling Me that my money would be refunded in 10-15 working days! On the 15th working day, got another email telling me refund has been processed and that it could take another 5 working days to show in my account!!
In all that is a month that Easycar has my money and that of thousands of other clients earning them interest.
Funny how they can take your money within seconds but find it so difficult to give it back within seconds. Even Bank transfers show in seconds.
So moral of this complaint, DON'T use EASYCAR!!

Joke do not use. . I was amazed that policy was 20 days to provide refund we are now at 22 days and still no refund. Used their partner Carwiz HR, total scam. Arrived with all paperwork, license and credit cards in my name.
Tried to upsell fuel and insurance package on the falsehood that my credit card didn’t work( worked everywhere else in Croatia) DO NOT USE - absolute scam.

Your woeful response says it all.

Booked a rental in Sicily, paid 800e refundable security deposit. 1 month later no refund. Was told at time of booking 5-10 working days for refund. Last week I was told its 28 days, today I was told its 28 working days.

Have a suspicion I'll never see my money again. How do they get away with it????!!!!!!!!!!

Full Scam
Full Scam. We used easycar to rent a car in Italy. The receptionist at the pick up station refused to give a key, claiming that the license is invalid. When we called customer service, they mentioned that the license needed to be held for at least 4 years according to their terms and conditions. 4 years!! We received neither a car nor a refund from them.

Do not use this company!!
Rented a car abroad and once we arrived the car was nothing like it was described on the the website.
When I contacted easycar they said it’s nothing to do with them and that I should speak to the car rental company to exchange the car.
The car rental tried to charge me an extra £500 to change the car I had to keep the car that they give me in the first place because they refused to give any refund.
Never using easy car ever again

Don't use Easycar.com. Booked a car for a week and paid in full. The flight was delayed and they had rented the car to someone else and refused to refund our money. We were left at Reykjavic airport late at night with no car! Totally unhelpful and unsympathetic so called customer service. Don't use this company.

DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. I paid Easycar for Car rental but the final provider of the service charged me again this rental from the security deposit. I raised claims with both companies and neither offered a solution. Not accounting for gas or any other service, I was charged twice for the concept of rental of the same vehicle. SCAMMERS!!

Again I am writing to tell all people…
Again I am writing to tell all people to stay away from this company
They take money from your account and say it was in the small print !
The price advertised is not the final price and should be highlighted when booking
They are misleading the public and overcharging insurance as the company you get the car from will charge you close to £300 for extra insurance, its basically a scam
And needs to be brought to the publics attention through the news Papers
